Last week at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF), our customer Ghostfish Brewing Company (Seattle, WA) won the gold metal in the gluten-free beer category with their Watchstander Stout. This beer showcases the best of Grouse Malting & Roasting with malt forward and roasted characteristics only achievable by using…you guessed it, high-quality gluten-free malt!
This is the first time a beer brewed with Grouse malt was entered into the GABF and the results speak for themselves. We look forward to seeing more Grouse customers entering beers at next year’s GABF.
Ghostfish Brewing Co. also won bronze in the gluten-free beer category with their Grapefruit IPA. So three cheers to Ghostfish, our trusty team, and to great tasting, gluten-free beers. We knew it could be done!
