Winnipeg and Back!

Last week I traveled to Manitoba and studied at the Canadian Malting Barley Technical Center. There I took courses on malting, roasting, brewing, malt and beer analysis, and more! I was instructed by a multitude of professionals at the CMBTC as well as the Canadian Grain Commission. ?I checked out their malting equipment(s), small scale brewing equipment, and other analytical labs, had assays conducted on certain Grouse products, and by the end of the week my head was exploding with information and contacts to boot! I certainly gained the information I needed on equipment, analyses, and gluten-free brewing to catapult Grouse into a new dimension. A few minor teaks and we?ll be cranking out even more tasty beer. Other news, we have several new brews fermenting away and intend to make a millet wine in the near future!
